So I guess finding out that I’m not the only lesbian in the world who thinks being Amy Winehouse from Halloween (complete with the “gangly hanger-on”) is rather clever isn’t really enough to deter me from what should be a simple costume assuming i can actually find a black wig and some hillbilly teeth this close to the 31st at Halloween Adventure. I think the bloody ballet slippers (which i mysteriously already own) are really what is going to make this one work.

There are a number of Halloweenactivities that look interesting this weekend. I will probably be attending all of one of them, as academia has been putting a damper on my tendency to paint the town red with bloody ballet slippers. But, for reference:
