Here’s a video compilation of some of the performace artist’s best work. i first heard of patty when she was standing outside of the coat check room i was working in, talking about how she “thought the eel was dead, but it was just stunned. so when we were in the bathtub together, it got sort of crazy.” the next year i went to see her perform at a gallery on 14th street, where she ate bag after bag of fast food until she was so full that she threw up.
