In and around Rockland County, NY.
I came across this woman’s photography on flickr while i was searching for images of Haverstraw, NY to illustrate a post I was writing about my history as a diner waitress. Sometimes before work I would go on long drives up the Hudson River until I was almost lost and then walk around towns with which I was unfamiliar. For now I’ll just post her photographs, though. I think you might find them interesting even if you’re not as familiar with the locations as I am. There is something personally nostalgic abt them for me, but you might agree on their aesthetic qualities.

I’m glad you enjoyed them. I have a similar habit of driving aimlessly around the Hudson Valley, which is how I acquire most of these images.
