First off I would like to mention and promote the fact that I find out about most of the events I post about on this blog from a really amazing mailing list called Nonsense NYC.   It’s a great weekly e-mail compiled by Jeff Stark of the Madagascar Institute, an art combine based in Brooklyn and  famous in the New York underground for years, who also happen to offer classes in welding.

This week’s mailing, for instance, lists something called Vaginapalooza, a name one might be inclinde to think rather annoying if it didn’t feature a really incredible list of performers, including Jessica Delfino, Dame Darcy (a childhood idol of mine) and Gina Vetro.  I’ll be there, hopefully laughing my ass off.
